Yanni (Yiannis Hrysomallis) was born in Greece, in 1954. Yanni is well acclaimed musician who plays piano, keyboard and composes instrumental music. Yanni formed a band with members like Charlie Adams and John Tesh. The he started to tour over many places for musical performances. He released “Chameleon Days”, “Out of Silence,” and “Keys to Imagination,” by this time. in 1992, Yanni had released “Dare to Dream”. Fortunately, the music and the composition of this album were super hit and one of the tracks entitled "Aria," was selected got Grammy award. He released “In My Time,” in 1993. And this album also got the second Grammy award. His music and theme songs were used in many popular TV channels and sport events. Many events such as , The Olympics, World Figure Skating Championships, U.S. Open, Wide World of Sports and Tour de France played his music.
The most successful time in Yanni’s career came after 1993. He released a great album “Yanni Live at the Acropolis,” which was filmed in 1993 at a renowned theatre in Greece (2,000-year-old Herod Atticus). This album was Yanni’s first popular live album which was supervised by Shahrdad Rohani (Iranian conductor). Yanni successfully performed the album tracks which were broadcast in many places. Yanni’s popularity became worldwide.
In 1997, Yanni went to India and performed there. The performance was recorded afterwards. Later on, he went to China and demonstrated his skills at Forbidden City in China. ,“If I Could Tell You.” was released in 2000, and like the previous albums, this album was also hit. Yanni traveled for concerts in 2003–2004 with his “Ethnicity” album. The album tour was one of the largest tours of that year which was ranked by Billboard Magazine. In 2008, he collaborated with music producer Ric Wake for his new album “Yanni Voices.”. “Yanni Mexicanisimo” was released in 2010. Yanni has been a successful musician of all time. his fame and recognitions are limitless. He has been busy in musical tours, studio recordings and live performances.
