Vicetone is an electro house duo that was formed by Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool in 2012 on Groningen, The Netherlands. The two was met in their teen age in their school in which they shared the same interest in music. They were influenced by Tiesto, Swedish House of Mafia as well as Eric Prydz so that in the year 2012, they started their career in making electro house music. Later on, they were discovered by Monstercrat and released song in them including “Starts feat. Jonny Rose”, “Harmony”,“Hope” featuring Barack Obama, “California” and “Heartbeat” which he collaborated with Collin McLoughlin. Their song received positive feedback from their listeners and they became popular as they shows their talents in making music. In the year 2013, they released their single entitled “Tremble” on August through Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings which became a big hit in which he received more admirers. They followed “Beast” in which they collaborate with Nico Vega (American Alternative Rock Band) that got 5 million streams as well as download and aside from that it was also featured in the video game BioShock Infinite.
In the same year, they collaborated with Popeska in “The New Kings feat. Luciana” together with Daniel Gidlund in “Chasing Time”, Nicky Romero for “Let Me Feel” and Astronomia 2014 featuring Tony. Those hits became viral and became well known by many DJ in which it was also the most played in clubs, party etc... The trio did also remixes for many artists including the “Overtime” by Cash Cash plus Nicky Romero and Krewella’s “Legacy”, “We Come Running” by Youngblood Hawke, Hook N Sling feat. Nervo “Reason” along with Flo Rida’s “Whistle”. “Someone Like You” of Adele and also Linkin Park and Steve Aoki’s “A Light That Never Comes”.
In the other hand, the trio held many performances all over the world and continues performing including the upcoming events in Los Angeles called “Lureday: Vicetone” on September 4, 2014, Portland OR on September 5 as well as in Las Vegas called “Vicetone”, “Life Color: Vancouver featuring R3HAB & The Chainsmokers on September 13 and for the following days and months in Chicago, Columbia, Palmetto and in Boston. Their latest released was called “Heat” that was out on August 18, 2014 by Revealed Recordings. It was ranked number 5 in Beatport Progressive House chart and still going up through the help of their fans and listeners who believes and inspired by their music.
