Uppermost is the stage name of Behdad Nejatbakhshe. Uppermost is a French electric music producer who is from France. Uppermost began composing music when he was just 17 years old. His musical works have been released by many famous labels including Ministry of Sound, Starlight Records, Sony BMG, BugEyed Records and his personal labels.
He has been quite a successful musician since his arrival into music. In 2009, his song, "Equivocal", became one of the top songs in Beatport electro-house chart. In 2011, again he could keep his track in the top chart by his “Biscuit Factory EP”. Uppermost has worked for a number of prominent artists such as deadmau5, Daft Punk, Burial, Johnathan Coulton, Crystal Castles, Syl Johnson, Gregor Tresher, Congorock, OniMe, Nina Martine, Tiësto, Missy Jay, Coolio, Rene Rodrigezz, Jesus Luz, Spencer and Felguk. Uppermost has also been playlisted by Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto and Steve Angello. He has also been remixed by renowned duo “Dada Life". He released around 41 musical tracks onto his social networking site (myspace). Uppermost loves to be present in the social community sites as his goal is to create a platform where people can contribute to art and music.
In the year 2011, uppermost came ahead with a debut album, “Action”. This album was recorded in his own Uppwind label. Soon the album was made obtainable for purchase on Amazon and other places. He started showing his musical demonstration in early 2012. He began his performance in Zurich. He was seen in a radio interview in January 2012 with Zach Mayer and Steige. He is working hard to please his listeners. Uppermost covers genres such as, electroclash, Electro house, experimental, progressive house and French house. According to Uppermost he gets inspiration from Daft Punk and Burial. But his production is always different and versatile.
