About Tommy Trash

Thomas Olsen also known as Tommy Trash is an Australian DJ/producer/remixer that was born on November 15, 1979 in Queensland, Australia. He was one of the prominent Australian Dance Music makers and had been looked as one of the Biggest Australian’s Talent after he appeared in 2006. He was known in the year 2011 in the song “the End” that became a big hit and received recognition from popular DJ’s including Afrojack, Swedish House of Mafia, David Guetta, Tiesto as well as Laidback Luke. But before that, he was released “It’s a Swede Thing” featuring Goodwill, “Fuck to the Bass” and “One More” with Tom Piper along side with “Slide” in the year 2007. As he continue his career, he launched 4 singles in 2008 collectively with 8 remixes such as “Insomnia 2008” by Faithless, “The Ridge” by Mason, Meck featuring Dinofor “ So Strong” and “Step One Two” by Kaskade.

In 2009, he was nominated as “Best Dance Record” by ARIA Music Awards in his song “Need Me Stay” which he collaborated with Mr. Wilson. It was ranked as number 6 in ARIA Club charts for 6 weeks Followed by “Starts” together with Michael Feiner. As he getting famous, he worked with many prominent artists like Carl Kenny for the song “Black water” featuring Rosie Henshaw, Angger Dimas for “Big Fucking House” and John Dahlback as well as Sam Obernik for “Come Undone” for the year 2011. While he did remixes for Timbaland featuring Pitbull in “Pass at Me”, Moby, Zedd, and Steve Forte Rio featuring Lindsey Ray in “Slumber” as well as R3hab and Swanky Tunes featuring Mac’C in “Sending My Love”.

Upon his released, he worked with high class labels including Spinnin Records, Music Freedom, Fool’s Gold, OWSLA, Axtone, Refune, Mau5trap and Boys Noize. Aside from that, he was team worked with Digitalism, Sebastian Ingrosso, Wolfgang Gartner and A-Trak which is a prominent producer and has a good reputation in music industry.

In the year 2012 he was nominated in 55th Grammy Awards for his remixed “The Veldt” for Deadmau5. In his career, some of his song was included in compilations like “It’s A Swede Thing” which included in Cream Summer 2007, “Annual” which comprises with “All my Friend” that included in Ministry of Sound compilation. As he continues, he makes more songs and remixes in which he will become well known by his own style of remixes.
