About The Pussycat Dolls
The Pussycat Dolls is an American pop girl group that was active from 2003 to 2010. This was a group of girls and was established by a celebrated choreographer, Robin Antin, in 1993. Robin Antin assembled some of her friends to form a group and soon she began performing in Los Angeles venues. Christina Applegate who was the member of the group suggested one day performing at the Viper Room (a nightclub) which was them owned by Johnny Depp. When Johnny Depp viewed their performance he was impressed and the group was hired to perform their weekly. When Carmen Electra joined the group, it started to outperform and get noticed by the Americans. The Pussycat Dolls started to perform regularly at different places and their popularity took them to Jane's Addiction concert. Within a very short period of time, the group got a list to celebrities and artists who were willing to perform together with them; they were Brittany Murphy, Britney Spears, Charlize Theron, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani. And their shows were always watched and adored by great people like Marilyn Manson, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Spade, and Dave Navarro.
By the leading role of Nicole Kea, the group was able to become one of the most adorable dance groups in the globe. They productively achieved a record deal with A&M Records and they released their first single, “Don't Cha”. This single featured Busta Rhymes and was released in 2005. The track was so popular and earned them success and 2nd top position on Billboard. in this year the group worked hard to produce its first debut album “PCD”. Some renowned producers like Ron Fair, Rich Harrison, Timbaland and Polow worked hard for this album
In an interview with Carmit Bachar, she confirmed that the reason of the disbandment was Scherzinger. The girls in the band were like sisters, but the ego and problems of Scherzinger led the band into insecurity. And thus the band disbanded. The band achieved success as well as fame from many parts of the world but the sudden disbandment in 2010 was really frustrating matter for the fans of The Pussycat Dolls.
