About The Kills
“The Kills” is a rock band created and composed in year 2000 by American Singer Alison Mosshart (“VV”) and British Guitarist (“Hotel”). In 2002, The Kills debuted with their album “Black Rooster”- EP, released on “Domino Records”. The following year, in 2003, saw the release of the duo’s debut full length album “Keep on Your Mean Side”. The album risen to #47 on the UK (United Kingdom) Albums chart, while the single “fried my Little Brains” risen to 55th slot on the “UK Singles” chart.
In 2005, “The Kills” then continue with “No Wow” which was initial of the group’s releases to wow the “Chart in the United States”, rising at 18th place on the “Billboard Top Heatseekers” Album chart. “No Wow” also tops in UK and most of Europe. In 2008, “Midnight Boom” album was released and again thru Domino Records. The successful album tops the charts in a sum of nine demographics, including the album’s first manifestation on the “Billboard 200 Albums” chart at 133rd spot. It also climbed to peaked to 16th place on the “Billboard Independent Albums” chart. Its music graces many US TV shows, including Beverly Hills 90210, Gossip Girls, and their track “Sour Cherry” was showcased on the amazing trailer.
On later year of 2009, it was told thru their “MySpace” page that they begun to collaborate on their “fourth studio album” despite the fact that no specific release date has been set. On 2009, “Black Balloon EP’ was released and “Black Balloon” was specially showed in the 2nd Season Episode of “The Good Wife”, “Net Worth”, on early part of 2011. In April, 2011, The Kills’ fourth studio album was released entitled Blood Pressures. Various singles was used by many popular TV series and creates waves and raves from TV fans. On September 20, 2013, “The Kills Live at L’Olympia”, the motion picture of their show from 2011 was broadcast, in partnership with the “French” clothing line “Equipment”. And in “December, 2013” The Kills confirmed and set a small “American tour” with “Queens of the Stone Age”. Soon after the declaration of the shows, the band’s record label, “Domino Records” established that next album of the successful duo are in the works. On May, 2014, Mosshart announced a new album and promised a completely different sound from their previous albums.
