Slash or Saul Hudson was born on 23 July, 1965. He has always been praised for his great guitar playing who mostly uses Gibson Les Paul series. Slash’s mother was a cloth designer and his father was art director. Slash had to move into Los Angeles to his mother in at the age of 11. His father remained in England because of his job and business. But he joined his family after some years. Slash could not do well in his academic life and soon he stopped studying in 11th grade. He used to be fascinated with BMX sport and won many prizes. Slash got interested in learning guitar at the age of 15. Before leaving his studies permanently he focused on guitar playing and jamming more than anything else. His first band was “Road Crew” featuring Slash and Steven Adler. But later on he was introduced with Izzy Stradlin who was with Axl Rose. Slash had been interested to be with Axl Rose because he wanted to create music which Rose could sing well. In 1986, Guns N' Roses was formed which included Slash as a lead guitarist of the band. Guns N' Roses got huge popularity from all over the globe. It toured so many countries and become a super hit band. People started admiring both Slash and Axl Rose. At that time Slash got the opportunity to work in Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous”. He even got opportunity to work with Lenny Kravitz in a project.
Slash was interested creating his own music which would emphasize on blues, and he formed a new band called ‘Slash's Snakepit’. But his personal career might be a trouble for Guns N' Roses. And finally Guns N' Roses could not go on well without Slash.
In 1995, Slash's Snakepit got its first album “Five O'Clock Somewhere”. Slash also formed another band later on which was known as ‘Blues Ball’ with a view to covering and composing only blues songs.
This mysterious figure got married with Perla Ferrar in 2001. People thought he would never be with any woman. But this did not happen. In 2003, slash got involved with ‘Velvet Revolver’. Surprisingly, this band was formed by the members of Guns N' Roses. This new band had been going well with concerts and studio recording.
