Sean Tyas is a music composer and DJ. He is now living in Switzerland, being a New York native. He was born in 1979 in New York. Sean Tyan started his musical journey in 1999 with his Tech-12s. At the initial stage he just wanted to learn mixing music and this was just fun for him. Later on, when he started producing records, he found his final destiny in music. When he was just twenty six, he worked with many great artsts such as Pink, Moby, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Aguilera, Milian, PPK and others. He started professional DJing in reputed places including Shelter and Exit.
When he moved to Europe, he found a number of opportunities for him. He worked closely with DJ Beam in Germany. He gathered much experience by doing great studio productions. But Sean was not happy with what he had been doing and concentrated into his own remixes and productions. "Mirella" was the successful start by Sean and he signed to Afterglow Recordings. This directed him to a remix of Duderstadt – Muhanjala. This remix had been so popular and found almost in all playlists of trance DJ including Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren.
His remix work of Beam - "On your Mind" was really fantastic under the trance music arena. Many renowned figures like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and John O'Callaghan frequently talked about him and locked him as 2006's talented musician.
His first single, "Lift", brought him fame and this helped him to win a competition (Sander van Doorn - Punk'd Remix Competition). He had to beat more than 250 remixes to win that challenging competition. So, it was not easy for this young and energetic artist.
By the year 2008, Sean played in over thirty countries. He has always been a busy artist who hardly finds free time to move around. He has been regular in studio work and music composing. Soon he will participate in many different shows. Sean has been presenting a radio show, entitled “Tytanium” which comes on Monday once a month on di.fm/trance.
