About Sander Van Doorn
Sander Van Doorn is a Dutch DJ and producer popular in the electronic dance music genre. He was born on February 28, 1979 in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands under the birth name of Sander Ketelaars. He debuted in the DJ Mag’s Top 100 in 2006 and soon rises up to reach the top 10 of the list in 2009. Although he went down from the top 10 of the list, he is still a famous DJ performing behind the decks in popular party areas around the world.Sander’s Musical Career
The music career of Sander began in 2004, although his music was first noticed by the listening public when he obtained regular stints at The Gallery and at Judgement Sunday in London and Ibiza, respectively. From there, he developed a following and his brand of music was well-received and aired by around 50 radio stations worldwide.
In 2008, under Spinnin’ Records, Sander released his first album entitled Supernaturalistic with a total of 13 tracks. During the same year, Sander received the Best Breakthrough DJ Award at the 2008 Miami Winter Music Conference, a proof of success for his early career. In 2010, Sander performed in several live shows, including his concert gigs around North America with tour dates that lasted for a month and ended with the Dusk Till Doorn concert in Toronto. “Daisy”, “Hymn 2.0”, “Renegade”, “Daddyrock” and “Reach Out” are a few of the hit releases of Sander in 2010 that rose up in the Beatport Hit List.
The following year, Sander released his second album entitled Eleve11 and his hit tracks “Love is darkness” and “Koko”. In 2011, he also received a Dutch Silver Harp award. “Nothing Inside”, Sander’s hit track was introduced in March 2012 in Miami and immediately achieved the top spot in the Beatport Hit List and reached the radio playlists in other countries.
Picking up from his success in 2012, Sander released more hit tracks in 2013 including “Direct Dizko” (with artist Yves), “Neon”, “Joyenegizer” and “Project T”. He also began his monthly radio show in the internet entitled Identity. Another milestone in his music career, Sander started DOORN Records in cooperation with Spinnin’ Records. In 2014, Sander’s “Right Here, Right Now” and “Gold Skies” (a collaboration with Martin Garixx and DVBBS) were welcomed positively by the public.
