About Rodney Bewes

British character actor born in Bingley , Yorkshire in 1937. He is best known for playing Bob Ferris in the BBC comedy Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads In 1969 he starred in and wrote his own sitcom called Dear Mother ... Love Albert for which he wrote and sang the theme tune. The song was released on the Revolution label in 1970. It wasn't a hit but is a collectable item Bewes continues to act and lives with his family in Henley-on -Thames (Last.fm)
