Quest Pistols, a pop rock band, was originally formed in 2007 in Kiev, Ukraine. The group is currently composed of Anton Savlepov (vocals and guitar), Nikita Goruk (vocals and bass) and Daniel Joy (vocals and keyboard), with former member Konstantin ‘Kostya’ Borovsky (vocals and keyboard). From Dancers to Singers
The band’s original members Savlepov, Goruk and Borovsky began their careers as dancers in a Ukrainian dance show entitled Quest Ballet. The members came from different backgrounds. Savlepov was the youngest member and was expected to have a bright academic future until he decided to pursue his passion for dancing. On the other hand, Goruk dreamed of becoming an ice skater and began dancing in ice fields back on his childhood days. Borovsky is the oldest member of the group and other than being a dancer, he is also a stylist and a designer and knows several languages. Because of his creativity, he is often the originator of ideas for the band.
On the 1st of April 2007, as part of the celebration of the April Fool’s Day, the trio performed in the show Chance and sang the song “Я устал” (English translation: “I’m Tired”) in front of several viewers. The performance gained appreciation from the crowd and earned the group more than 60,000 positive votes. Because of the positive feedback they received, the trio decided to pursue a singing career and the Quest Pistols’ journey as a band began.Songs and Album Releases
The band released their debut album Dlja tebja in 2007 under the label Megaliner Records. The album contained 14 tracks including “Dlja Tebja”, “Ja Ustal”, “Mama” and “Pet’ Zhiv’jom”. The song “Mama” became part of the soundtrack for the video game Grand Theft Auto IV.

In 2011, Borovsky decided to leave the band in order to be closer and to take care of his wife who was pregnant at that time. Before he left, he found a replacement in the person of Daniel Joy whom he personally trained.
