About Pitbull

Pitbull: The Master Rapper. Armando Christian Perez, also known to music lovers as Pitbull, was born in  Miami, Florida, USA on January 15, 1981. This simple lad is seen by many as very talented and popular rapper of today's music industry.

A Blast from The Past

Pitbull grew up in Miami and was raised solo by his mother after the divorce of his parents. However, his mother kicked him out of the home because he got involved in a drug dealing business. He then spent the succeeding years of his life ,living in Roswell, Georgia with a foster family. Ata young age, Pitbull has been inspired by many rapper figures such as Big Pun, NAS and many more. After high school, Pitbull determined to skip college altogether and concentrate on his rapping career instead.

The Beginning of The Star

With his rapping talent and love for music, he made his first ever guesting in the album “Kings of Crunk” by East Side Boyz in 2002. A year after that, he was chosen to score the music “Oye” for the 2 Fast 2 Furious movie. In 2004, he releases his album (which is considered by many as his claim to fame)-- “M.I.A.M.I”. This was released under the TVT records. A lot of people think that the album is entitled as such because of his hometown. But the acronym really means “Money Is A Major Issue”. In this album, he featured singles with collaboration with Trick Daddy, Lil John and Fat Joe. Because of this, he was able to achieve the number 14 spot on the Billboard Hot 200. Due to the success of his M.I.A.M.I album, he became the most sought after collaborator for many artists of the hip-hop genre. He was then asked to join the Anger Management tour which was produced by 50 Cent and Eminem. Along with that, he also went on various concerts, gigs and live shows. After the successful launching of his first album, he released another one after 3 years. His second set-- El mariel-- was a dedicated to his father who died. This album placed him in the 17th spot in the Billboard Hot 200. His third album-- “The Boat Lift”-- was also released in the same year. In 2009, he came with a roar with his fourth album “Rebelution”. Rapping is Pitbull's life and a lot of music fans are definitely grateful for that.
