Pharrell Concerts Schedule
Pharell Williams was born on April 5, 1973 in Virginia. He is considered to be one of the most popular American artists of all time. Not only does he sing, Pharell is also good in rapping and composing, and has a mindset of a businessman too, so he tried producing. He also owns a line of shoes and shirts named Ice-Cream.
He started off as one of the members of The Neptunes together with the famous Chad Hugo in 1994. They were the men behind Britney Spear’s successful hit “I’m A Slave 4 U”.
He once joined the group called N.E.R.D as the drummer and lead vocalist. Their very first album debuted in 2001. The group was successful in releasing many hits like Fly or Die, Nothing, Seeing Sounds, and more. After a few years, Pharell has decided to try his luck as a solo artist.
His very first album as a solo artist, “In My Mind” was released in 2006.
Continuing his career as a producer, The Neptunes actually won for Producer of the Year at the Grammy’s in 2004. It wasn’t his first and last Grammy award, his song “Money Maker”, which featured Ludacris won the Best Rap Song in 2007.
As a composer, one of his masterpieces was actually featured in the movie Despicable Me. It was a song for his son. He was featured on one of Daft Punk’s super hit “Get Lucky”.
Pharell was very successful in doing collaborations with other well-known artists like Nelly, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, and more.
Pharell married his model and designer, Helen Lasichan last year, but they have been dating for years already. Rocket Man, their first born child was born in 2008.
Pharell gains strength and inspiration from the people he loves and those who have been following and respecting his passion and taste for music. As with any other artists, there will always be tough times but he has gone through it all, gracefully. He is likewise being inspired by his fellow artists, new or old. He is being challenged to step up a little bit more and do better after every project or collaboration.
Much more is expected of this man. More album hits, sold out concerts, top rating guesting and shows, and prestigious awards. Pharell will continue to make good music for his own self, loved ones, fans, and fellow artists. Music will always be his passion.
