Phantogram, formed in 2007, is a duo band from New York. This due band basically produces electronic rock due music. The lineup is consisting of Sarah Barthel (vocals, keyboards) and Josh Carter (vocals, guitars). The duo has released some amazing records throughout their career including Phantogram EP in March 2009. This EP contains two great songs, "When I'm Small” and "Mouthful of Diamonds". Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter have been friends for a long time which in fact motivated them to form a due together. Both of them are from in Saratoga Springs, New York.
In 2009, Phantogram, came up with, “Running from the Cops EP” which was on the global label BBE Records. And they released their full length album in 2010, “Eyelid Movies”. This album contains 11 songs including four songs from earlier releases ("Mouthful of Diamonds," "Running from the Cops," "Bloody Palms", “When I'm Small”). This album was successful in both domestic and international spheres. Internationally released by BBE Records and domestically by Barsuk Records, the album gained huge popularity within a short period of time. They could easily get a top position on the US hit charts with their song called “Nightlife” (2009).
The band achieved numerous opportunities. They toured many places and participated in many live shows. They were seen to collaborate with OutKast's music which was his second album. The duo also featured on Flaming Lips track, "Young Lust" in 2013.the duo band could see the real success around in 2013 when their song, "When I'm Small" was on MTV. They found themselves becoming a buzz. they even released some tracks while staying in UK. They were seen on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” in 2011 and also in 2013, and again in 2014. They demonstrated a song on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
They really had a good time in UK and returned to New York and started to continue the normal flow of their work. They had been working in their new album which could be released in 2014.
