Childhood friends Smith, Ross, Urie and Wilson founded the band. They have their first demo recorded when they were high school. Their influencers were The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Zombies. Ross and Smith are schoolmates when they were high school and started playing in ninth grade. To form a band they needed more people, so they invited Wilson and Urie to complete the team. They made covers of the band Blink-182. Most of the band in Las Vegas was doing the same thing that is why the band was challenged to be different. They posted their demos online and sent a direct link to Pete Wentz. Wentz is the Fall Out Boy bassist. After hearing Panic! At the Disco, Wentz went to Vegas to meet with the band. Wentz was impressed and help them get their first contract signing with Decaydance Records.
Their first released studio album was “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” on 2005. A few years later, they have “Pretty. Odd.” Then their album “Vices & Virtues” was on the market.
