Is a Russian born rap artist, Oxxxymiron’s real name is Janowicz Miron Fyodorov born to a physicist and librarian on January 31, 1985 in Leningrad, Russia. Oxxxymiron has Jewish origin. The family moved to Germany in 1994 and then to the UK in 2000. He is one of the founders of former label Vagabund. He has released one studio album in 2011 entitled “The Eternal Jew” and working out the second. Miron use the pseudonym “Oxxxymiron” as a combination of the literary term “Oxymoron” and the three times the “X”, is sent to a lot of obscene language in his songs.

Miron graduated from Oxford University with a BA in English Language and Literature. His main focus is on the Middle Ages. During his college days he was diagnosed with manic depression disorder. He was expelled and re-admitted to the Oxford University after his recovery.

In 2009, Miron enter the 14th independent Battle Hip-Hop.ru and reached semifinals. The Battle Hip-Hop.ru held a public voting in its portal at the end of the year, Miron excelled and won in most categories such as “Best Sparring Battle”, “Breakthrough Battle”, “Best MC Battle”, and “Best Track Battle” . He also won and vanquished other nominees the in taking the “Discovery of 2009” and “The Best Hip-Hop Artist of 2009”. This is also the year when he was noticed by Optik Russia but unfortunately, he left in August, 2010 under the pre-text of non-compliance of interest.

In 2011, Miron released his controversial debut album “The Eternal Jew”. It became popular to listeners. The same year, Miron received the “Newcomer of the Year” award at the GQ Magazine “Man of the Year 2012” awards in Moscow. After “The Eternal Jew”, he released two mixtapes entitled “miXXXtape I” and “miXXXtape II”. The latter was selected as one of the Top 25 Russian Releases of 2013 by the prestigious Russian Music journalAfisha Volna.

Miron has collaborated with Western artists that includes Madchild of the popular Canadian Duo Swollen Memebers and the German hardcore rapper Automatikk. And in 2012, he has been touring broadly over Russia with various popular rap artists. Miron is dedicatedly working for his second album .
