About Otto Knows
Otto Jettman, more popularly known as Otto Knows in the music industry was born on May 6, 1989. He is among the best DJ and producer in Sweden and has achieved several numbers of hits around his hometown, as well as in Netherlands and Belgium. He has successfully collaborated with several artists like Alesso, Avicci, Spears, Ingrosso, and many more. He did notable remixes for Heap, ATB, and more.
Otto Knows started easy and has battled a lot of challenges before he has attained his status now. With his natural talent and charm when playing music in party places, it wasn’t hard to believe that he can really achieve stardom.
Everything started in 2010 when he shone in the world of electro music with his own version of Imogen Heap’s Hide and Seek. Tim Berg was really impressed and so he produced Hide and Seek (Avicii Remix). This just opened new doors for Otto as he gained more success by topping different charts. Among his notable works include iTrack and Kick Out the Epic Motherf**ker.
Another huge hit came in 2012 that made him even more popular. His single called Million Voices ranked 3rd on the Ultratop 50 and at the Belgian Singles Chart. It was landed on the 6th spot on the Dutch Singles Chart. It was also included in the 15 best songs on the UK Singles Chart.
Later that year, he did another epic work and performance after remixing Lies by the producer and DJ, Burns. It was one of the extended play releases of the single in UK. This work actually did better commercially and ranked 32nd in the UK Singles Chart last December 2012 after just four weeks. Soon after, in 2013, he co-composed and co-produced a song for Britney Spears called Work Bitch.
Otto Knows’ greatest inspiration was his family and fans. Aside from his innate passion in writing lyrics and creating beats, he also knows that what he is doing affects his family and friends. To every work he does, he always considers how his fans would respond to it. He doesn’t allow negativity to conquer him. He stayed focused on what he wants to achieve despite the close competitions as there are many young and talented artists as well. Otto Knows will continue to make good music and is expected to show much more than what he had previously accomplished.
