About Miike Snow

Miike Snow started as an ad hoc side project between other careers. Wyatt was originally partnered with Ronson; as producers and composers, Winnberg, Karlsson, and Boodshy & Avant were successful in music like Toxic and Piece of Me by Spears. They ended up with a very successful album that was launched and synced more than two hundred times not only in Hollywood, but worldwide. But the unexpected success of Silvia, Black & Blue, and Animal, which are still being played and heard today, came as a big surprise. They toured around the world for 18 long months and every single performance was a big success.

Getting back into the studio after being out on the road for so long was like a warm homecoming. The composition and recording of their very first album finally started. Nothing much is expected from this album. The group also admitted that they have always wanted to record an album but they do not know anything more than that. They were a bit confused or hesitant whether to get a manager to release their record. But after the unexpected album has gained popularity and success, things went out differently. Wyatt decided to go to Stockholm, where he stared to learn more about music.

Bunkered in the studio called Robot Mountain, where they find comfort and happiness the most, Miike Snow was too excited and his creativeness has led to songs that came out strong and fast, topping charts and selling wild in the market. The duo did several remixes. Among the most popular one is that for The Prodigy entitled “Invaders Must Die”. The remix ranked 53rd in the Aria Singles Chart and 7th on the Aria Dance Chart in Australia.

Miike Snow has likewise produced for the gorgeous and popular artist Rihanna several times and these include some of her popular albums like Rated R, Talk That Talk, and Unapologetic. They also produced a Rita Ora’s top UK song, R.I.P and have co-produced a song on Burke’s album entitled Overcome. Several other successful remixes of Miike Snow includes Sirens by Rascal, Heartbeat by Nneka, Broken Dreams by Black Canvas, and Who Dem by Capleton. Miike Snow is now considered to be one of the best and most influential artists today. A lot of youths were actually inspired by how they worked and achieved success. Miike Snow will continue to make music for their people.
