Ludwig van Beethoven is considered as musical genius in the arena of western classical music. This genius was born on December 16, 1770, in Germany. When he was a small boy he became a performer and traveled many places for demonstration. And soon he was able to support his family financially. Beethoven spent most part of life in Vienna. He was one of few musicians who could make up a living without the association of the church. During his first 22 years, he concentrated learning Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart very seriously.
Although his compositions are played by many instruments but he particularly wrote his music for piano. He mastered piano playing at first. But when he was 26 years old, he was getting physically disabled. He was about to go to be deaf and finally he became deaf. He could not hear anything as he was suffering acutely from tinnitus, and with the passage of time his problem became permanent. it is amazing to know that Beethoven composed some of the well-known and popular compositions after he bema e deaf!
Ludwig van Beethoven is the great classical music composer until today. He is still ranked higher in the top chart of greatest classical musicians of all time. He is highly appreciated for his “The Ninth Symphony”, “The Fifth Symphony”, “Moonlight Sonata” and “The Pathtique Sonata” some of his piano compositions are frequently played in movies, Walt Disney's cartoon and TV shows as well. He died on 26 March 1827 due to liver damage. In the last phase of his life he stopped coming in front of the public and composed music alone with the help of some closed ones. And in this time he composed most admired works.
It is assumed that his deafness was the ultimate sadness in his life. He even tried to think about suicide. His "Moonlight Sonata" reveals the ultimate sorrow though his musical notes. Though, his fragile relationship with Julie could be the inspiration behind the great composition.
