About Lindsey Stirling
Lindsey Stirling is an American performance artist, violinist, dancer and music composer. She was born in 1986 in California. In the year 2010, she participated in America's Got Talent season five and she became a quarter-finalist. Her YouTube video channel is well known to many of her fans. She learned classical music and she successfully applies it into her music. She was brought up in Arizona and she was taught classical music and violin playing at an early age. When she was still a teen she was able to play at a band called “Stomp on Melvin”. She also won a number of competitions including the Arizona Junior Miss title. She studied therapeutic recreation at Brigham Young University. In the year 2010, she participated in the NBC's America's Got Talent and demonstrated as a unique hip hop violinist. Her performance, dance, violin and electronic backing tracks created an amazing presentation. After this talent show, she started focusing on her channel on YouTube. By the help and cooperation of Devin Graham (director/cinematographer), Lindsey Stirling could produce a number of great videos that characterize her music in beautiful outdoor settings or with high quality visual complement. Stirling has many great video but one of her videos, "Crystallize," is still so great and this video is watched more than 75 million times.
In 2012, Stirling released a self titled debut album. The album got immediate success. The album sold more than 200,000 copies in the U.S. alone. In some places, the albums was certified Gold. Soon she became one of the well-admired artists in the world and could tour in Asia, Europe, Russia and United States for live concerts and shows. Seeing her success and prospective future, she was given an offer from “Lady Gaga's management firm”. In the year 2013, Stirling released a pair of EPs, and one of the Eps was collaborated with Tyler Ward. She has been very busy in studio recording as well as live shows. She is also working for her new releases.
