Leventina is a music duo formed on 2005 in Zurich, Zurich Switzerland. The members are Andrea Oliva and Christian Hirt which they both shares interest in progressive house music. The duo met in the club where they accepted the call of making music and all the way through they had been discovered by many labels who believed and inspired by their music as a duo.
Leventina started making music as their hearts saying it, they recorded songs in the year 2008 were some of its songs were not released digitally including “Sweet Southern Comfort” and “Rare Cuts” but it was released on market on October 25, 2007. According to Discogs their 2008 first released was “Nightshift” that comprises of 2 songs and it was released in Switzerland, US and Italy through Unreleased Digital, Strictly Rhythm an D:Vision Records. They launched “Everlasting Love” on 13th of June 2008 followed by “Hollywood” on December 8, 2008 that was composed by Christian Beat Hirt .
In 2009, their combination was a bit spreading all throughout their homeland as well as in other countries. From side to side, the duo created 3 songs such as “Naked” that contains original mix and Ibiza Sunset dub, Helvetic Nerds Tribal Mix, Incognet Remix and radio remix and next released was “Attitude” along with “Here Workin”.
Year 2011 is one of the most promising years for them, after the launched of their first EP called “The Grynd EP” on February 22, 2011 through Bits and Pieces Records. It contains the song The Grynd and Adventures in which the songs had been successfully out.
The Duo had also the opportunity to work with different artists including the Dinka, Passenger 10 along with Deb Peyton and Chris Reece on the sing “Start Again”. For the year 2012 to 2013, he launched the “Glorious” and “The Sun” featuring EDX which according to them, this project was a great working experienced to both of them and they are looking forward to have more projects together in their future.
Plus, they collaborated with Daniel Portman in “Who’s Laughin” that was released on March 21, 2014 via Doom Records. They performed in Miami on THE SETAI Miami and Nikki Beach on March 2013 together with Stafford Brothers, Dinka, Tracy Young, David Jones, Andrew Bennett and a lot more. The duo break new ground in the progressive house music style in which they came up with inimitable dance floor music.
