Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the most influential artists of all time. He was born in Germany, in 1685. His father was also a musician. He lost his mother when he was just 9 years old. And when he was 10, he lost his father as well. His older brother who worked as a church organist who took the responsibility of Bach. Soon Johann Sebastian also became a good organist.
Johann Sebastian Bach had several activities to do. He was an appointed worked for the duke at that time. he was a also director at a church and school in Germany. And when he found a free time, he concentrated on music, and performed at a local coffee house.
When Bach was alive, people really did not care for him. People just thought he was an ordinary musician and he had nothing special. Nobody really discovered his music during Bach’s lifetime. Bach died when he was 65. He was suffering from several health problems. After the death of Bach, he was almost forgotten but his fame and greatness returned in the 18th and 19th century. Many other top classical musicians followed Bach significantly and artists like Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Frédéric Chopin, and Ludwig van Beethoven, considered Bach as master.
