About Five Harmaniacs
The Five Harmaniacs is a name of a jug band (or two bands, as some music researchers claim) that played early blues and vaudeville blues (also known as medicine shows music) in 1920s with instruments such as kazoo, harmonica, banjo, ukulele, etc. Clyde Shugart was usually the singer and the kazoo player. Other names known to be in the band are Walter Howard, Jerry Adams, Ned Nestor and Wade Hampton Durand, but it is not known for sure who did what
