Enter Shikari, a four-piece rock band, founded in 2003 in Hertfordshire. Though a rock band, the band profoundly incorporates with a number of genres. The band always considers social, political and scientific facts in its lyrics. The band was founded from the remainders of the rock group “Hybryd” (1999-2003). The line-up included Rou Reynolds (vocalist), Liam "Rory" Clewlow (guitarist), Chris Batten (bassist), and Rob Rolfe (drummer). Enter Shikari released a demo in 2003 which was sold at gigs and websites. After that the band released two additional EPs which include “You're Not a Winner” as well as “Sorry”.
The band’s popularity was rising but it was reluctant to go with any major labels. They continued working for their self released EPs, live concerts and recording demos and uploading its songs on myspace and other sites. The band participated in 2006 download festival. Considering band’s continuous successes, it worked on its record label. Soon in 2006, “Ambush Reality” was released. Enter Shikari soon became a great band that was still unsigned band to sell out the illustrious London Astoria. In 2006, Enter Shikari participated on the Download Festival of Gibson/MySpace stage
In March 2007, Enter Shikari released its first accurate LP, “Take to the Skies”. This album was popular and the smash single "Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour" became one of the top hits. The coming of Enter Shikari’s second album “Common Dreads” was announced by a release of a single "Juggernauts" in 2009. The band participated on regular tours and concerts before settling down in Bangkok, with a view to working with producer Dan Weller (Ex SikTh guitarist). In 2012 the band came up with its third album. Earlier it was disclosed that the band could be touring in 2014 being a participant of Warped Tour 2014. It also announced that it would perform on various kinds of festivals including a reading festival. The band is considered a major post hard-rock band at present.
