About Dirtyphonics

Dirtyphonics is a French electronic music band formed on 2004 in Paris, France. The members are Charly, Pho and Pitchin under their genre’s Electro house, dubstep, drum&bass and electronic rock but the original members are with Charly, Thomas Desbouvrie as well as Pho while Pitchin joined in the band in the year 2008. The band was influenced by the music of Daft Punk along with Pendulum, the metal rock bands Metallica and the Korn in which most of their members are playing metal music. According to Charly, their music constantly resembled to be prevailing and accurate as they making songs; they love to experiment and discover new things and exceed on their boundaries.

In the year 2008, they were discovered by Shimon’s Label and eventually they signed a recording contract with them; they released their first single called “French F**k” that peaked at number 1 in Beatports Chart along with “Quarks” that was released by AudioPorn Records. One year later, they released the single “Teleportation” with “Vandals” followed by “Dark Days/ Lost In Tha Game” in which they collaborated with Tali & Ed Rush, “City Kids” featuring Mustard Pimp and “Tarantino” through Dim Mak Records. As opportunity came to them, they released their first debut album called “Irreverence” that was out in 2013 through Dim Mak Records. They worked with Steve Aoki in the song “Stage Divers”, Foreign Beggars for “Nothing Stop Us” and Leila Moss in “Hanging On Me”. For the year 2014, Dirtyphonics introduced “Where Are You Now” together with Zeds Dead featuring Bright Lights via Mad Decent Records.

For the past 10 years in music industry, they shared their talents in many songs of different artists as their remixes; including the Nero’s “Me & You”, The Bloody Beetroots “WARP” along with the Crystal Method featuring The Heavy song “Play for Real” and “Lies Greed Misery” of Linkin Park. In addition, they also workout the song “Bring You to Life” by Steve Aoki with Rune RK featuring RAS, Kaskade & Project’s “Last Dance” and “Disintegrate” of Le Castle Vania. The band performed almost around the world which they played in Festivals including Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Electro Zoo Festival in New York City and a lot of countries such as Spain, Belgium along with Puerto Rico, Canada and Italy. We can say that the band received the popularity that they want in their career through their songs and performances.As the result, their fans are getting bigger and their songs are spreading all over the world.
