The original members of the band groups include Beyoncé Knowles, LaTavia Roberson and Kelendria. All of them were teenagers when they formed the band. Beyoncé Knowles was perhaps the youngest member of the group. Finally, Destiny's Child came up with a new album in 1997.
The first album, entitled, “Destiny’s Child," was indeed a popular album of 1998 which was produced by Wyclef Jean and Jermaine Dupri. Among many offers, the band got offer for soundtrack recording, "Killing Time” (Men in Black). In 1999, they worked for their new release, “The Writing's on the Wall”.
Due to several reasons, the band had a hard time around in 2000. Roberson and Luckett had come across with many issues but the group handled everything according to the law. In that time of trouble, Beyoncé proved to be the leader of the group. She was working for the upcoming album and she wrote songs for the album. In some cases she was seen producing some songs herself.
They released their next album, “8 Days of Christmas” in the end of the year. They further announced that they were busy in a number of side projects. But, Roberson and Luckett were still trying to threatening them. Because of the hard work of Beyoncé, she could win the leading role opposite Mike Myers in one of the Austin Powers film, Goldmember, playing blaxploitation-fashion female lead Foxy Cleopatra; her primary solo, "Work It Out," was seen on the recording, and the full solo album, “Dangerously in Love”, was a great hit. Beyoncé was in love with Jay-Z and they got married in 2008. She secured her status as a great pop star with the platinum albums B'day.
