Trevor Smith Jr. is an American actor, rapper and producer from Brooklyn. He is also known as Busta Rhymes. He was born in 1972 in New York. When his family moved to Long Island, he was able to meet with the hip hop community.
Trevor Smith is very popular in the hip hop markt and community for his solo album, “The Coming” which was done on Elektra Records and released in 1996. The album was popular in US as well as in UK. The next work, “When Disaster Strikes” was also very good but it sold well in the overseas. 'Dangerous' and 'Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See' were two singles which were considered great. His third single, 'Turn It Up/Fire It Up' was not indeed so well. But this one was hit in Germany.
Trevor Smith was interested to work with some great artists and he released “The Imperial”, a joint project with rappers Spliff Star, Lord Have Mercy, Rampage, Rah Digga and Baby Sham. Rhymes might have a great interest in films which is proved in the titles of “Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front,” which was deeply inspired from “Deep Impact” ( a disaster film). The artists had a good time working with Janet Jackson on his “‘what’s It Gonna Be?!' this reached on the hit list in US and UK. Around in 2000, he was found very busy working with a number of movie projects and he also could release final album for Elektra, “Anarchy”.
Rhymes had signed to another record label, J Records, after leaving Elektra. In 2001, he released Greatest Hits. And in 2002, Rhymes came up with his 6th studio album, entitled “It Ain't Safe No More”. The first song was a remix featuring a sample from 'Eric B. is President' of Eric B. and Rakims.
Rhymes has been a successful parent of three children. And Rhymes has been a Muslim and expressed that he has been going well with his faith.He has acted in many TV shows which include The Wayans Bros, Cosby, Space Ghost Coast To Coast, The Boondocks, and The Wayans Bros.
