Blue Stahli is an electronic rock project by multi instrument player Bret Autrey. His musical talent is not confined to his records alone. He is seen in many shows, movie trailers and games. Bret Autrey did not receive any academic knowledge on music nor did he learn from any person. He was self learned musician. His musical journey began in 2000.
Blue Stahli was just a school project. In 2006, Blue Stahli came up with a debut album, entitled “Darkeworld: Project One” but at that time of the release Blue Stahli was using the name of 'VOXiS”. The album featured a variety of songs, demos and musical experiments that were done from 2000 to 2006. The musical works again were released though FiXT Music label in 2007. In 2007, Blue Stahli was discovered by Klayton (founder of the FiXT Music label). Blue Stahli participated in a contest and met Klayton. Later, Blue Stahli moved to Detroit, the place of the FiXT Music label.
He signed with FiXT Music and concentrated into producing much experimental music. He debuted with his first single, entitled, “Kill Me Every Time” soon after the deal. His first album, “Antisleep Vol. 01” was released in 2008. Later, he released an instrumental album based on Antisleep Vol. 01. He worked on some other singles and released 2 more albums in 2012 and 2013.
In 2013, Blue Stahli released a single called "Never Dance Again" which was an experiment of 80s dance music. This single was followed by a remix by labelmate Josh Money.
In the same year, Blue Stahli came up with 'The Fall' and 'Down In Flames', two new songs. Both of these two songs were found in the second album “The Devil”. This album was very hit in the market. Soon the album received positive appreciations by magazines like Loudwire and Bloody Disgusting.
He has been active in his music with tough schedule. Many of his fans consider his music as aggressive, artistic and full of piss’n'vinegar, but his music is v vividly cinematic and wildly epic
