4 Strings is a Dutch DJ, remixer and producer duo that was formed by Carlo Resoort (born on March 1, 1973) and Jan De Vos on 2000 in The Netherlands. Originally, it was Carlos who is the founder of the 4 strings in which he was working with Jan De Vos. Eventually, they shared the same interest in music and they started their partnership and De vos became the DJ 4 strings

Resoort first single was called “Day Time” that was released on 2000 and followed by “Take Me Away (Into the Night). The released became successful that was included in the chart in many countries including Canada, Australia as well as in United States although it was limited edition. The single got charted in Dance Radio Airplay along with Hot Dance Singles Sales and Rhythmic Top 40 in US.

As the duo continuous making music, they gained lot of experiences in all throughout their career. However, the duo split for a while; Resoort continue working in studio while John pursues his career being a DJ and he met Piet Bervoets which they collaborated for many shows. After a while, the two reunited and continue their partnership. In 2003, 4 String’s first debut album was released and it was called “Believe” through Liquid Records that comprises of 19 tracks. One year later, the 2nd album was out called “Turn It Around” through Ultra Records that contains the song “Turn it Around” as well as “All Around the World”. The album was also released in Germany through Alphabet Records while “Central Station” in Australia.

In 2006, they introduced their 3rd album entitled “Mainline” through Ultra Records and Central Station in Australia that was released on 2007. It includes the Ron Van Den Beuken Edit on “Take Me Away” and remix of “Silmarillia”. While in 2007, they collaborated with Darude in releasing another album called “Before Storm/Believe” that was launched on Europe as well as in Netherland, Russia and Germany through Urban, RCA Records and many more. They worked together to form the album that contains the 13 tracks of Darude and 19 tracks of 4 Strings. They worked with Samantha Fox in the single ‘Forever”, Ellie Lawson on “Safe From Harm” as well as Tina Cousins and DJ Shaine as the performed din many events, clubs and in many countries.
