About Дельфин

Andrei V. Lysikov also known as “Dolphin” is a Russian musician/poet that was born on September 29, 1971 in Moscow. He was known on its alternative rock, experimental music, electronic music and trip hop style. He was the part of the group ‘Oak Gaay’ together with his friend Deer and Mutabor. They formed another group called “Bachelor Party” were they received negative feedback on their works due to malicious sings and inappropriate images.

In 1996, he leaves the group and soon after, he had “Misha Dolphins” which he collaborated with Michael Voinov and the other one is E-Van. After one year, he released his first debut album called “Out of Focus” on 1997 by Elias Records and produced by Mutabor, Michael Warriors and Dolphin itself. It consists of 10 tracks and it was recognized as one of Russians Greatest Rap Albums. In the year 1998, he recorded his 2nd studio album called “Depth of Field” and was released on 1999. He was collaborated with Victor “Mutant”, Ivan Chernikov, and Max Galst’yan. The album comprises of 11 tracks with 4 remixes. His next album was called “Fins” that was launched on the year 2000 that was recorded in 2 weeks. He worked together with Julia Philips (Pictures), Paul in guitar, Ivan (Bass) and Mutant (Guitar).

In the following years, he released “Fabrics” in the year 2001 by Cream Records, “The Star” in 2004 through Universal Music which he team worked with Alexander Petrunin (MeWark), Stella Katsudas and Pavel Dodonov. 3 year after, he introduced his 6th album entitled “Youth” on November 22, 2007 by Mystery Sound and he collaborated with Renat Ibragimov. It consists of 14 tracks including Joy, Robots, Without Us and many more. In the other hand, he won the Best Russian Album by Apelzin Awards.

For the year 2011 to 2014, he came up with “Creature” by Dolphin Music in which the cover of the album was Madonna Litta (Leonardo da Vinci’s piece) and the upcoming TBA that will release in autumn in the year 2014. Dolphin also released a live album such as “I’ll Live”, a compilation “Favorite songs fans Dolphin” and “Favorite Clips Dolphin Fans (DVD format)” as well as A Live 19.11.04. In addition, he was also part of the film Do not even think About It 1 & 2 and some of his songs are featured as a soundtrack.
