About Градусы

Градусы (English translation: Degrees) is a Russian pop band that first appeared in the Russian music industry in 2008. Degrees’ Early History

The band began when Pashkov and Tagiyev were joined by Bakhtinov and Golovanov in their apartment and started making music together. Pashkov and Tagiyev were the minds behind the songs “Director”, “Tramp”, “Radio Rain”, “My Time” and many more. Asked about the songs they wrote in an interview, Pashkov stated that the lyrics of the songs are taken from their everyday lives and their actual life experiences. Ruslan added that he always carries with himself a voice recorder so that he can records a melody anytime it comes to him and shares it with Roman and develop the song together.

The first full concert of the band entitled 100 Degrees was staged in 2008. And in order to stage the show, the band has to pay the club where the band performed, as the band’s intention was to put up a show for free so that local audience can hear their songs.

Directing their Own Path

First released in 2009, the band’s first hit song “Director” has received considerable support and was aired on several radio stations including Russian Radio, Radio Siberia, Hit FM and Europa Plus. The song reached the top spot in the hit list of Russian Radio in the same year and ranked in the top 10 of the songs with the most digital downloads in Russia.

On March 3, 2011, the band successfully released its first album entitled Naked consisting of 11 original songs that includes “Director”, “Who are you” and “I will never”. By the time the album was released, “Who are you” and “I will never” are popular songs already and have stayed in the hit charts in Russia for quite some time. In October 2012, the band took the opportunity and performed in a big concert in SK Olympic. In 2013, the sophomore album of the band entitled Sense of Agility was released to the market and the songs “I always remember the main thing” and “Rain, rain” were introduced to listeners. In October 2013, the music video for “Rain, rain” was completed and premiered on televisions and computers.
