Vintage, pronounced as Vintazh, is a pop group from Russia. The group was formed in 2006 headed by Anna Pleynyova (a singer) and Alexey Romanov ( a musician).
Anna is the ex-soloist of the band “High School” while Alexey is a former soloist of the group named “A-Mega”, They first thought of Chelsea as their band name but they eventually decided to go with the name “Vintage”.
In 2007, the group went to shoot their first ever video for their first single “Goodbye”. By September, this song can be heard in various radio stations already and has ranked 14th place in the Russian chart. During the same year, the band went on live shows and gigs in the Moscow region. Also, they released their first album entitled “Criminal Love”on the month of September.
In 2008, they filmed the video for their song entitled :Bad Girl”. The song ranked third in Top Hit 100 and was considered as the first ever single of the band. After 2 weeks, the song landed in the number one position. This is the year where some changes took place in the group. Svetlana Ivanova too the place of Mia.
In 2009, they launched a video for the song “Eve”. As of now, it is the most successful single of the band because it lead the Russian radio chart for almost 9 weeks. Their album “Girls Lunatics” was also released the same year. Their album “Sex” followed suit.
On April 16, the group announced the release of their new single with the title “Mikki”-- a song which they dedicate to Michael Jackson. There is two versions for this song-- A Russian and an English one. The song failed to reach the achievements of their previous tracks but is still popular nonetheless.
On September 11, their song Roman was released in 4 different radio station and this was considered as the group's most successful single. Their music video for this song garnered over ten million views.
