In 1989,  ÂTMOSPHĖRE  was formed. They are a hip hop group in Minnesota, United States of America. The current members of the group are Sean Daley, rapper and Anthony Davis, DJ and producer. The ÂTMOSPHĖRE were loved by their fans because of their hip hop music. They brought rhythmic culture into the 1980's. Their most famous song was Scapegoat.

Originally,  Daley  worked  with  Derek  Turner.  They  where  school  mates  when  they  were  in high school. The original name of the group was Mental Subjects, and they changed it to A Rhythmic Culture, and then finally came up with Urban  Atmosphere. They  later  met  Davis ,  they record a track in his house. Then seeing the potential, they worked further with Davis for their recording. Afterwards they removed Urban in their name and settled  with  Atmosphere.

The  group  even  collaborated  with  other  rappers  and  formed  a bigger  group  named  Headshots. Rappers  Musab, The Abstract Pack, Black Hole and Phull Surkle joined in with Atmosphere.

1997, the group’s  first  album , Overcast!,  was  released. They  were  made  famous  by their song  Scapegoat  when it was played on air on a college radio station.

2000, Turner left the group. And Daley, also known as Slug work fulltime as a musician, leaving his job at a recording store and at a department store.

By 2001, Atmosphere sold tickets for three of their major tours of the year in Europe and in North America.

On the 11th June of 2002,  the group  released  God  Loves  Ugly , their  second  album. They  sold  more  than  130,000  copies.  Modern  Man’s Hustle and God Loves Ugly became very popular.
